Short Bio:Marius discovered his passion for computers when he was still a teenager, so, following the natural path, he decided to study IT science. Being fond of everything linked to this domain, his career started when he was still a student. He started as a programmer and network administrator in Policolor, the largest and most important paint and varnish company in Romania. In this position he set the bases of a new IT era in Policolor by developing new applications and reporting systems in the Accounting and Financial Departments . Since then Marius dedicated his knowledge and most of his time to Policolor. In a short period of time, being still a student, he became the IT Department Manager and so he started his ascending career as a manager.
Between 2000-2009 Marius was subordinated to the General Manager of Policolor-Orgachim and became one of the most important pillars in the Group. He became a major advisor and a partner for all Departments in matters related to budgeting, milestones, quality and planning.
In 2009 he was appointed CIO and Group Controller, Budgeting & Reporting Director becoming the strategic partner to the Group CEO in the areas of Processes Organization, Budgeting and Reporting, Group Controlling, Information Technology. Working closely with the CEO, developing strategy as part of the key leadership team and then building the financial and operational plans to fulfill that strategy, his main focus was to design and continually improve a modern Controlling and Technology Information System, which supports the business decisions.
In 2011 Marius was appointed CEO of Orgachim JSC, the most important paint and varnish company in Bulgaria part of the Policolor-Orgachim Group. In Jan 2012 he was appointed CEO of Policolor-Orgachim Group, a multinational paint manufacturer company, the largest in South-Eastern Europe.
